SAFE GUARDING your personal data

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA“). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when users are just ‘surfing’. While we use SSL encryption to protect personal information online, we also take all practical measures to protect your information off-line. All of your information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of Our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

If you have submitted information directly to the Third Parties in respect of a particular product or service then you understand that we process that information as an agent of the Third Party. We may hold a back-up copy of the information that you submit, but only as an agent of the Third Party. If you wish to modify or otherwise deal with your personal information submitted directly to a Third Party then you should contact the Third Party directly, as they have responsibility for that personal information. We will comply with the Third Party’s instructions in respect of that personal information. If you wish to understand the Third Party’s data protection or privacy policy with regards to the dealings that it has with your personal information then you should contact the Third Party directly to establish such terms.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to Our Site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Keeping your information up to date

If your personal information changes (such as post code, phone, email or postal address), or if you no longer desire our products or services, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate your information. This can usually be done by contacting us using the details at the end of this policy.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, Our Site, and other places we deem appropriate so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

If, however, we are going to use your personal information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you via email. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner. However, if you have opted out of all communication with Our Sites, then you will not be contacted, nor will your personal information be used in this new manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on Our Site notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post a notice we will also email you if you have opted to receive communications from us, notifying you of the changes in our privacy practices.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes.
