Today is a very exciting day in our Healthcare 21 journey.  We are delighted to announce that the Healthcare 21 Group has been acquired by AddLife AB Group.

AddLife is a Swedish publicly listed Med Tech company. Similar to Healthcare 21, AddLife is a specialist healthcare organisation, with 55 subsidiary companies, across 25 countries in mainland Europe.  The AddLife model perfectly aligns with our structure, but more importantly is a striking cultural fit, has shared values and aligned growth objectives. The AddLife business model is for their Group companies to continue to operate independently, on a stand-alone basis, in their business areas and regions, under their own brands.

Tara Kearney, Healthcare 21 CEO, said today at news of the announcement:

“We are incredibly excited about the new opportunities, experience and investment that AddLife brings to the Healthcare 21 Group. AddLife are an experienced specialist provider to the Life Science market segment and offer a long-term perspective, a European presence and a complimentary portfolio of supplier and proprietary brands, which will ultimately enhance our offering to our customers.

“This is an exciting development for Healthcare 21, our 450 employees, our suppliers, our customers and all stakeholders. It accelerates growth opportunities for us and positions Healthcare 21 for the next stage of our journey. Being part of a larger European Healthcare group will allow Healthcare 21 to deliver an expanded product and service offering.

“We now have 2 of the best-in-class healthcare organizations working together, with so many opportunities for us to continue to develop and grow our departments, our divisions, and our group companies.”
